Here's a sampling of what made Today's Lists today, Aug. 12:

52-Week Highs: Starbucks(SBUX Quote) and Crocs(CROX Quote) both hit new 52-week highs on Wednesday, of $19.44 and $6.87, respectively. Starbucks closed up 37 cents, or 2%, for the day at $19.23, while Crox added 42 cents, or 6.8%, for the day to close at $6.56.

Biggest % Losers: Clearwire(CLWR Quote) lost 17.8% to close at $6.93 on Wednesday after reporting a second-quarter loss on Tuesday. JA Solar(JASO Quote) closed down 14.9% at $4.47, also after posting a second-quarter loss.

Analyst Upgrades: Among today's upgrades was Morgan Stanley's boost of Salesforce.com(CRM Quote) to equal weight from underweight. Merrill Lynch/Bank of America upgraded Allstate(ALL Quote) to buy from neutral with a $33 price target.

Analyst Downgrades: Merrill Lynch/Bank of America knocked its rating on SunPower(SPWRA Quote) down to underperform, with a $26 price target.
