Lehman Takes Dubious Place in Street History
The heads of most major Wall Street banks and financial institutions met over the weekend at the office of the New York Federal Reserve but declined to take action to save Lehman (LEH). A group of 10 large financial companies said they would participate in a $70 billion loan program for troubled peers.
